The International Society For The Advancement Of David Kessler has highlighted careers of attorneys, artists, physicians, professors, and actors. Even several fictional characters were David Kessler.

But David Kessler was a Marvel comic book character named Messiah. Starting in issue number 97 of Defenders (July 1981), the mild-mannered (aren't they always?) David Kessler made his debut. According to the Marvel Comics website,

"David Kessler was a dreamer, an idealist who thought he could change the world just by preaching a message of peace. When others gave up on the message, David put his energies to better use--working at a school for handicapped children, and other, similar efforts. No matter how hard he tried, it never seemed to make a difference. Eventually he quit his job and went to Israel, to seek out his roots. After 20 days alone in the desert, an angel appeared to him, telling David that he was the one, true messiah foretold in the Hebrew scriptures. It filled him with divine power and sent him to begin his mission of raising the world up from its current state. Unbeknownst to David, however, the angel was actually the demon Hyppokri (or one of his agents), one of the demonic cabal known as the Six-Fingered Hand, and the power that filled him was anything, but divine."

"What were his super powers?", you ask? Marvel says, "Chief among his powers was the ability to heal others. He could also evaluate the spirit of others and see their true nature. He could summon an army of warriors--whom he believed to be angels, but were really demons not actually under his control."

The International Society For The Advancement Of David Kessler has ordered on Ebay several copies of the comic that David Kessler first appears in. You may want to secure your copy now before there is a rush to horde the dwindling supplies.

Steve Guttenberg Was David Kessler

You read that right. The illustrious Steve Guttenberg played David Kessler in the 1977 movie The Chicken Chronicles. Yeah, you read that right too. The Chicken Chronicles was actually the name of the film and it was Steve Guttenberg's first major film role. It was a high school sex romp movie in which David Kessler is on a mission to lose his virginity once and for all. What else is there to do in high school? David Kessler is bound to lose his virginity sometime, so it might as well be chronicled on the silver screen.

For those of you who are following along at home, this is the second movie in which David Kessler is the main character that The International Society For The Advancement Of David Kessler has reported on (though, so far it is chronologically the oldest known movie with David Kessler in it). The first (and our favorite) movie to be discussed here is the classic An American Werewolf in London. Then, of course, there was Irreconcilable Differences. There is evidence of David Kessler being a stage presence for over 100 years. Along with the Prospect Theater Company, David Kessler put on a play called She Loves Me, Shakespear's classic, As You Like It and Gilbert and Sullivan's classic, The Pirates of Penzance.

Can you imagine being in Rome, Georgia that summer and seeing David Kessler in three different shows? Puting a skirt on your trailer will make you the envy of the raceway infield. What am I talking about? David Kessler knows. David Kessler is a mechanic in charge of the clutch on the racing crew of Brandon The Kid and has fasioned a protective skirt for the trailer that houses the race cars and equipment for his team. Three years after the team owner purchased the trailer, it still looks great despite the rough treatment of the racetrack pit environment.

His trailer skirt has caught the eye of many in the industry including Torco Racing Fuels Competition Plus web magazine. The drag racing magazine wrote an article about David Kessler's invention and even conveniently posts his phone number so that now that you realize how embarassingly naked your trailer is, you'll give David Kessler a call and end your trailer's shame once and for all. The North Hills Phoenix Association is a non-profit organization of homeowners living in the North Hills area of California; near Oakland and Berkeley. Bad move, fire.

Now David Kessler has rebuilt his home, and he and his neighbors have mobilized a task force of community activists. They monitor safety and keep the local municipal services aware of their needs.

The NHPA held a press conference in October of 2006 announcing their report of how well the cities of Oakland and Berkeley responded to their recommendations following the 1991 Oakland Hills fire. The product has a tiny circuit board in it that emits its code over radio waves to a nearby detector.

Maybe one day you'll put all of your groceries into your cart and have an RFID system scan your entire basket at once. Cool, huh? Imagine a library with smart shelves that know where each book is. Maybe you can take a book off the shelf and walk right out of the library with it and your RFID library card. You pick up a receceipt at the door telling you when the book is due. That technology is right around the corner and David Kessler sells it.

David Kessler is the Senior Vice President of Sales for RFID Systems in Dallas, Texas. His company creates RFID systems for warehouses, distribution, and retail businesses. He may or may not still work there. I don't know. The latest information I have on David Kessler is from 2004. Now, if only he was wearing an RFID tag...

Laser Guided David Kessler

Not only is David Kessler a member of the International Society For The Advancement Of David Kessler, but he is also a member of The International Society for Optical Engineering. Yeah, it's true. David Kessler founded the company in 1992 and sold his interest in the company back in 2000 while he was the president. I bet he did well with that venture. The company has since been acquired by McKesson, but I bet David Kessler walked away with a pretty penny. Yes, that's very astute of you. David Kessler, Ph.D., the President of the International Society For The Advancement Of David Kessler did receive his bachelors degree from Indiana University in 1989. But David Kessler, Ph.D. received his Ph.D. from Indiana University at the same time that David Kessler Ph.D., the President of the International Society For The Advancement Of David Kessler received his bachelors degree. They didn't know each other, but they may have been at the same graduation ceremony with about a million other people.

Now, David Kessler, Ph.D. is an associate professor at Kent State University in the Department of Justice Studies. You needn't fret my friend. Allow David Kessler to allay your fears. David Kessler is the Regional Evironmental Protection Specialist of the Airports Division of the Federal Aviation Administration, Western Pacific Region (I bet the typeface on his business card is very small).

So, if you have an airport that you'd like to know what its environmental impact is, call David Kessler at the FAA and he'll do a study. Just make sure your airport is in the western pacific region. Otherwise, someone other than David Kessler might do the environmental impact study. Are you going to leave that task to just anyone? Right. NO WAY!

David Kessler, Intellectual Litigator

David Kessler litigates all aspects of intellectual property lawsuits with the firm DrinkerBiddle of Philadelphia. Where would you be without it? Lost and double-booked. Have you ever wondered where the software that runs on your personal digital assistant comes from? David Kessler makes software that runs on those little indispensable gadgets.

David Kessler is a software engineer who particularly likes to create software for tiny little devices. Some of his software is called embedded as it is often permanently embedded in hardware like appliances. It is his type of programming that controls your DVD player or your microwave oven. If you contact him at his company Kopsis, maybe he can make your garage door opener play MP3 files.

Whatever your PDA or embedded software needs are, you know you can't go wrong with David Kessler.

Election News

In all the attention on mid-term elections at the national level, the liberal media failed to recognise a juggernaut just under their RADAR. You want to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. All your friends are doing it. But when are you going to find the time to read the law? Maybe someone has already read it and knows just what to do. But who?

It may not surprise you to know that the answer to this question, much like almost any other is, of course, David Kessler.

That's right. David Kessler of Kessler McGuinness & Associates in Newton, Massachussetts is just the guy for you. If you hire him, you'll be inundated with happy handicapped people making their way into your building in no time at all.

David is a specialist in industrial design and social gerontology. Having a masters degree in each of those fields, David Kessler is well qualified to consult with large institutions to help their architectural planners comply with the ADA and other federal accessibility guidelines. In fact, that is just what he does there at Kessler McGuinness & Associates.

So, if you have a hankering for compliance, look no further than the obvious choice, David Kessler.

Cinematographic David Kessler

Among the couple of people who have portrayed David Kessler in movies (see the Fame section for details), there is also David Kessler working behind the camera to make other movies. Here's David Kessler with his eye mushed into a movie camera possibly doing what he does now. That is, serving as a director of photography.

David Kessler graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and went into the film industry starting as a grip, making his way into his current position. He spent years working in production for commercials and has now moved into films. Be on the lookout for a movie called Winter of Frozen Dreams, shot by (who else?) David Kessler.

Winter of Frozen Dreams is a coming of age film about several thousands of people who simultaneously realize the emptiness of their existence and their deep, paralyzing regret of not having been David Kessler sooner. They specialize in flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, violins, and violas.

When David isn't manning the store phones, he's mastering the web. He's the webmaster of kesslermusic.com, you see. You'll find email links to him all over the site in addition to what looks like an excellent selection of student and professional musical instruments.

So if you are in Vegas, tired of all the dancing girls, and you've won just about as much money as you care to, head on over to Kessler & Sons. Buy yourself the oboe you've always wanted, and buy it from David Kessler.

Updated David Kessler

I came across some new information on David Kessler and updated his entry.

David Kessler for Pennsylvania State Representative 130th District

There sure are a lot of districts in Pennsylvania. I bet the 130th District is among the best. Naturally, they'll need a leader who can step up to the plate and lead them like only David Kessler can. It isn't surprising then, that David Kessler is the man for the job. Can you think of a better person than David Kessler to be the state representative for the 130th District? I can't either.

While The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler does not officially endorse any political candidate, we do encourage our membership to participate in the political process and take over the governments of all nations.

11/22/06 - David Kessler won in the 130th district and will be going to the Pennsylvania State Legislature! We here at The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler shun wanton silliness.

I would never have considered The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler to be in particular need of an official bird, either. However, I have inadvertently come across turdis kessleri (And no, it is not because I forgot to flush the toilet). Turdis kessleri is a species of feathered friend. It is a grand bird of the Himalayas. When I came across it, I was struck. Suddenly The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler was in dire need of an official bird. And there it was.

While it is no bald eagle, it is at least commonly named Kessler's Thrush. So, until I find a bird specifically named the David Kessler bird, the Kessler's Thrush is the natural ascendant to the position of official bird of The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler. By the way, the bird pictured here...his name is David. Naturally.

Philanthropic David Kessler

The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies shows David Kessler on their "Dean's List" of contributors to their organization. This is a picture of him at a reunion in 2005. Believe it or not, that's all I know.

Update 10/16/2006 - I found an interview with David Kessler who is a biologist specializing in small mammals at The Smithsonian National Zoological Park. He says he's a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. I'm thinking this picture goes with that interviewee. If so, David Kessler went to the University of Maryland for graduate school and then did research at the National Zoo. Now he takes care of the cute and cudlies.

This may be the first David Kessler one can go to a zoo to see.

Cardiovascular David Kessler

Do you suffer from arrythmia? Has your dance instructor say he can't do anything about it? Don't have a heart attack without first calling David Kessler, MD. He'll hook you up with a cardiac pacemaker. He's a cardiologist who specializes in electrophysiology and cardiac pacing.

If you think a pacemaker is merely OK, but you'd like something with a little more kick, maybe David Kessler can interest you in something more like an implantable cardioverter defibrillator. I bet if he likes you he'll even throw in a stent and give you a nice discount on the package too. So, run, don't walk, well, OK walk to Austin, Texas and ask for David Kessler. Tell him David Kessler sent you.

Certified Public David Kessler

Do you owe back taxes? Remember that movie with Ryan O'Neal, Shelly Long, and a cute, little Drew Barrymore? Maybe you rented it on VHS or Beta when you got your exciting new Video Cassette Recorder in 1986. Or maybe you taped it from HBO when you got your exciting new Video Cassette Recorder in 1986. Either way, it may have been a while since you last saw the movie.

The only thing I can think of that is interesting about the movie is that David Kessler is one of the characters. I can only assume that since I can't remember anything about the movie, I must not have seen it. After all, how could I forget a movie that David Kessler was in?

Judging by the reviews I have seen online, the prominence of David Kessler in this movie pales in comparison to the lead role David Kessler enjoyed in An American Werewolf in London. This time around David Kessler is played by Sam Wanamaker, pictured here from the film Superman IV (I couldn't find a picture of Sam in Irreconcilable Differences).

Though Sam is now dead, he will be considered for posthumous induction into adjunct membership of The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler. Well played, Sam. Well played.

Psychology Advisor

The University of Texas at San Antonio was wise enough to hire David Kessler to be a student advisor. In particular, David Kessler advises students with last names starting with the letters A through L; and even more specifically, he advises those students in the subject area of psychology. Talk about specialization.

One word of caution, though, about this David Kessler; he is listed with the Texas Academic Advising Network as "Michael 'David' Kessler". Yes, it looks like his first name is really Michael. However, his middle name is David and he appears to prefer to be called David Kessler. Smart move. I don't think he calls himself David Kessler just to be a member of The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler or to get out of paying the $1,000,000 membership fee. If so, the ruse would have been quite elaborate as he is referred to as David Kessler in a number of places on the UTSA website dating back at least a couple of years and his email address is David.Kessler at UTSA.edu. So, I am comfortable that the transformation from the less-desireable Michael Kessler to the far superior David Kessler is complete. All kidding aside, while I may have taken some liberties with the account of his career path, it remains true, David Kessler is practicing law in South Bend, Indiana and he does really have a Ph.D. in philosophy to boot.

The website of his law practice says that David Kessler enjoys reading, playing tennis, watching movies and chopping down trees in the forest and then running away as fast as he can to see if the tree makes a noise. OK, I admit, I may have added that last part.

David Kessler, The State Park

You read that headline right. David Kessler is a state park in Missouri. How about that? David Kessler Memorial State Wildlife Area is located at lattitude 39.06, longitude -90.91 in Lincoln County. I wonder what other geographical features are named David Kessler.

At first I hesitated and contemplated whether or not to make the David Kessler Memorial State Wildlife Area a member of the International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler. I decided to consult the membership criteria. After reviewing the criteria, I found no criterion to require the candidate to be a person, per se; or even animate, for that matter, though some might claim that it is implied. I feel that using a strict interpretation of criterion number 1, the criterion was satisfactorily met and therefore membership should be conferred thereon.

David Kessler, Crime-Fighter from the Ohio Attorney General's Office

If you had been in Vermont earlier this month and had been a member of the Association of Vermont Credit Unions, you might have been fortunate enough to take a seminar with none other than David Kessler. David offered a seminar entitled "Bomb Threat Training". He is also known to give workshops on identity theft and elder abuse (preventing it, I assume). Be on the look out for more.

You see, David Kessler is the former Commander of the Financial Crimes Unit of the Dekalb County (Georgia) Police Department and currently works for the Child and Elder Protection Section of the Ohio Attorney General's office. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, too.

It is good to have David Kessler as a member of the International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler. David Kessler is a manuscript microfilming coordinator and I used to work for a large corporation specializing in the microfilming industry, ProQuest Company, which you might recognize from it's old name, Bell & Howell. OK, so it's a weak commonality. What can I say? If you have spent any time in a libarry (ha ha I said libarry) you have probably used one of those hulking microfilm reading machines.

David Kessler's manuscript microfilm coordinating duties occur at the esteemed UC Berkeley Bancroft Library, where it looks like he has also spent a lot of time reading books. According to this webpage he's quite elloquent and it looks like (at least at one time) he experienced a rather deep existential crisis. He wrote,

"After enough years in the same town, the same building all day long, ploughing the same furrows and accumulating same on one's brow, one only with difficulty imagines that life could have been lived in a fundamentally different way. Alas, such casual thoughts inevitably crease one's brow even deeper, when the stock of years to come seems to evaporate, and the illusion that it's just a stage, a means to an end, tumble into the sobering realization that retirement is closer than commencement."

The copyright on that page is 1995. So maybe David Kessler is feeling better by now. Maybe he needs to get out of the libarry more often. Maybe the thrill of his new exclusive membership in The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler is just the thing to bring a ray of sunshine to his life.

Another Dr. David Kessler

Put another Dr. David Kessler on the pile. He has a Ph.D. in physics from Princeton University and a B.S in physics from MIT. His interests are, "Interfaces, pattern formation, non-equilibrium dynamics, statistical physics," and examining specific problems like, "models of biological evolution, fracture, dendritic solidification, Belousov-Zhabatinskii spirals, viscous fingering, kinetic roughening, strain-induced roughening, molecular beam epitaxy films." I would have studied that too, but viscous fingering is illegal in my state. If I tried to do it, I'd get a kinetic roughening of my own. No thank you.

David Kessler once said in a presentation entitled A Momentary Glance at The Solitary Wave of Asexual Evolution that ‹E1›=μ(1-(2‹E1›/L))+‹E2›. I don't know about you, but I find that hard to believe. According to my calculations 4*3X=12; 3X=(12/4); 3X=3; Therefore X=1. Then, if we apply the quasitransitive property of mathematics E clearly equals (M*(C*C)). He may have to rethink his approach.

David Kessler, Rocket Statistician

Yes, David Kessler is a Rocket statistician and he's only in high school. His website www.davekessler.com gives that impression too (That's where I got the idea from). It is also where I nicked the photo from.

A few photos on his site show him doing standup comedy at the Improv. He's even been on television and made a short film. We definitely have to check out David Kessler. It looks like he as sold a couple of multi-thousand dollar paintings on their website. I have seen his posters at about a million poster sites on the Web. They're hard to miss.

Since he shows up on so many poster websites, I suppose he is known in the poster and fine art industries. I'll put him in the Fame category until I hear otherwise. I only have my vague intuition to go on, acknowledging, of course, that he's not nearly as famous as the most famous David Kessler.

Anyway, David Kessler paints on aluminum to make his paintings extra shiny. Of course, that deconstruction doesn't do justice to his work. And neither does the Web, I am sure. Any self-respecting David Kessler must have seen this film at least once, if not several times. The best line in the movie is when a mangled, rotting, dead zombie friend of David Kessler says to him, "You must die, David Kessler!" That's the kind of line David Kessler doesn't soon forget.

Perhaps David Naughton should be given an honorary, adjunct membership in the International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler. Maybe the membership committee will consider this matter, when there is a membership committee.

You can learn more about the classic film at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082010/ or you can get information on the 20th Anniversary DVD and see more pictures like the one above at http://www.americanwerewolf.com/home.html.

Theatrical David Kessler of Many Talents

I'd post a picture of David Kessler (inevitably swiped from his site), but he says on his site that if others want to use content from his site, then they should contact him first. Perhaps I will. In the mean time, while we are waiting for his permission, let me tell you about David Kessler. David Kessler wears many hats. He works in theater both as "talent" and a producer. He also organizes the logistics of conventions and meetings, writes, edits, creates calligraphy and illuminated texts and he likes to sing and play musical instruments. Not only that, but he can also kick your ass with Tai Chi and a sword.

David Kessler also has pictures on his website http://www.ouphrontis.com/index.html that indicate he has been to the Middle East. That puts worldly representation of David Kessler on yet another continent/major geographical area. While he is not travelling, David Kessler lives in the Boston, MA area.

10/04/2006 - Update - Ah HA! I found a picture of David Kessler on another website other than his! At least, that is what I gather from a French article on him at http://archquo.nouvelobs.com/cgi/articles?ad=medias/20051212.OBS8546.html&host=http://permanent.nouvelobs.com/. Since I don't actually speak French, I can only gather from what appear to be cognates that David Kessler has some interest in France Culture. He said, "La préoccupation de l'audience à n'importe quel prix n'est pas la priorité de France Culture, mais nous devons essayer de gagner et nous pouvons gagner de nouveaux auditeurs". I couldn't agree more. David Kessler was born in 1863. If he was still alive, he would undoubtedly be the most famous David Kessler, as he'd be celebrating his 143rd birthday this year. No such luck for him or us. Instead, David Kessler died in 1920 after a prominent life on stage in New York City's Yiddish theater.

He is a member in good standing with The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler despite being dead. src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger2/299/2477/200/DavidKessler_72.jpg" border="0" />Undoubtedly the world's most famous David Kessler is the former head of the United States Food and Drug Administration, Dr. David Kessler. David Kessler is probably most noted as bringing the U.S. tobacco industry before Congress's heavy scrutny. His investigations into the manipulation of nicotine levels in cigarettes and other manipulative and misleading practices of the tobacco industry contibuted to findings of culpability in federal courts and headline-grabbing record damage awards to plaintiffs and their families. Punitve damages also funded state-wide anti-smoking initiatives.

David Kessler earned an M.D. from Harvard AND (probably because he was bored) a law degree around the same time from the University of Chicago. Last I heard about this over-acheiving David Kessler is that he is Dean of the Yale medical school.

Added 9/22/2006 - I thought I was tracking down another David Kessler; this time an author of novels. I went to http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/k/david-kessler/ to find out more about David Kessler who wrote six books. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Oh, but I was. It seems the Deanship at Yale nicely affords David Kessler the time to pen fiction too. I stand by my last statement...

Hey, Dave. You're making the rest of us look bad.

Dental Implants in Miami

Dental Implants in Miami

Drs.
