Enophilic David Kessler in China

David Kessler lives in China. If you look in the Shanghai phonebook you may actually find David Kessler's number listed among all the Wong numbers (sorry, it was impulse. Moving on...).

"What's David Kessler doing in China?" you may ask. "After all, he is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, isn't he?" Well, yes, and he works for a company called WineSpring that caters to customers who insist on experiencing the finest in luxury services. David is a wine expert who was hired by WineSpring because he has extensive experience in professional wine buying and working for the hospitality industry. He is described as well-connected in the Chinese wine industry and highly respected by top wine importers, restauranteurs, sommeliers, hoteliers, and wine writers.

So, raise a glass of your finest Concord grape wine, stick out your pinky finger and toast David Kessler in China.

David Kessler and PDA

You know you love your Palm Pilot or your Pocket PC. Where would you be without it? Lost and double-booked. Have you ever wondered where the software that runs on your personal digital assistant comes from? It doesn't come from the occasionally-smart Keebler elf. David Kessler makes software that runs on those little indispensable gadgets.

David Kessler is a software engineer who particularly likes to create software for tiny little devices. Some of his software is called embedded as it is often permanently embedded in hardware like appliances. It is his type of programming that controls your DVD player or your microwave oven. If you contact him at his company Kopsis, maybe he can make your garage door opener play MP3 files.

Whatever your PDA or embedded software needs are, you know you can't go wrong with David Kessler.

Election News

In all the attention on mid-term elections at the national level, the liberal media failed to recognise a juggernaut just under their RADAR. You see, David Kessler (D) won a seat on the Pennsylvania State Legislature as a representative for district 130 (see our earlier election coverage).

This is just the beginning. Today one seat in Pennsylvania, tomorrow...legislatures packed with David Kesslers!

The Most Accessible David Kessler

You're constructing an office tower and you need to know if the skateboard park on the side of your building counts as a wheelchair ramp. You want to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. All your friends are doing it. But when are you going to find the time to read the law? Maybe someone has already read it and knows just what to do. But who?

It may not surprise you to know that the answer to this question, much like almost any other is, of course, David Kessler.

That's right. David Kessler of Kessler McGuinness & Associates in Newton, Massachussetts is just the guy for you. If you hire him, you'll be inundated with happy handicapped people making their way into your building in no time at all.

David is a specialist in industrial design and social gerontology. Having a masters degree in each of those fields, David Kessler is well qualified to consult with large institutions to help their architectural planners comply with the ADA and other federal accessibility guidelines. In fact, that is just what he does there at Kessler McGuinness & Associates.

So, if you have a hankering for compliance, look no further than the obvious choice, David Kessler.

Cinematographic David Kessler

Among the couple of people who have portrayed David Kessler in movies (see the Fame section for details), there is also David Kessler working behind the camera to make other movies. Here's David Kessler with his eye mushed into a movie camera possibly doing what he does now. That is, serving as a director of photography.

David Kessler graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and went into the film industry starting as a grip, making his way into his current position. He spent years working in production for commercials and has now moved into films. Be on the lookout for a movie called Winter of Frozen Dreams, shot by (who else?) David Kessler.

Winter of Frozen Dreams is a coming of age film about several thousands of people who simultaneously realize the emptiness of their existence and their deep, paralyzing regret of not having been David Kessler sooner. When they all show up at a sleepy county courthouse to have their names changed, hillarity ensues.

Old Engineer David Kessler

In 1924 David Kessler graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in engineering. At least I presume it was an engineering degree. David Kessler is listed in the Purdue University School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Wall of Fame. He may have majored in electrical engineering, though I am pretty sure his major wasn't in computer engineering. That would have been a quick course of study in 1924.

David Kessler is a Responsible Father

Here's David Kessler on the right being a responsible father taking his son Brian to a night of business networking at Quinnipiac University. The January 2004 evening included a workshop on networking and job search skills followed by an alumni panel discussing their various careers.

Way to set an example, David Kessler! That's just the kind of attitude we like to see around here at the International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler. We understand that sometimes Brian Kessler needs advancement too, though it isn't necessarily our focus, per se. Somebody should do it.

Litigator Audiophile David Kessler

You might expect an attorney such as David Kessler, who practicies law in civil litigation, labor and employment, non-competition agreements, civil rights, collections, and shareholder disputes to be a one-trick pony. But not David Kessler. In addition to being an attorney at Blaugrund, Herbert & Martin in Washington, Ohio, and president of the Dublin Management Group in Dublin, Ohio, David Kessler is also an audiophile. You can find him posting on AudioKarma.org protecting the rights and resolving disputes between AudioKarma members buying and selling esoteric audio electronics to others in the state of Ohio.

So if you are a member of AudioKarma and buy an expensive set of Mpingo disks from someone in Ohio so as to enhance the sound of your $50,000 Martin Logan electrostatic drivers pushed by dual Krell Class A monoblocks and you discover that the Mpingo disks don't actually *do* anything, give David Kessler a call. You can't go wrong with David Kessler in your corner.

Advertising Exec David Kessler

Just like Mr. Tate on Bewitched, David Kessler is an advertising executive. He used to be the managing director at the famous ad firm Hill, Holliday. A few years ago he was picked to develop ads to assist John Kerry in his run for president of the United States. He didn't work directly for the Kerry campain, but for an outside organization helping the cause without having to be limited by campain finance rules.

Of his role in creating advertising during the Kerry campain, David Kessler said, “The goal was to provide some air cover...It reminded me of the scene in Saving Private Ryan, when they hit the beachhead and the shit’s flying. That’s what our job was—take the fucking beachhead, and [Kerry] will come in when he’s ready.”

Ah, if only the results of the Kerry campain were like the results of the invasion at Normandy instead of like the invasion of Iraq. But I digress, and digress I shant. David Kessler sounds like he's got a nice solid attitude. We need a good ad man at The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler, to assist with the effort of advancing David Kessler.

Purveyor of Brass and Wind (Instruments, that is)

You need a euphonium and you need it quick. Where to turn? You turn to David Kessler, of course. David owns a few musical instrument shops in Las Vegas, NV and if anyone can get you the brass you need, it is David Kessler. David and Chuck own Kessler and Sons Music, home of Kessler Custom Saxophones and Mouthpieces. They specialize in flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, violins, and violas.

When David isn't manning the store phones, he's mastering the web. He's the webmaster of kesslermusic.com, you see. You'll find email links to him all over the site in addition to what looks like an excellent selection of student and professional musical instruments.

So if you are in Vegas, tired of all the dancing girls, and you've won just about as much money as you care to, head on over to Kessler & Sons. Buy yourself the oboe you've always wanted, and buy it from David Kessler.

Updated David Kessler

I came across some new information on David Kessler and updated his entry.

David Kessler for Pennsylvania State Representative 130th District

There sure are a lot of districts in Pennsylvania. I bet the 130th District is among the best. Naturally, they'll need a leader who can step up to the plate and lead them like only David Kessler can. It isn't surprising then, that David Kessler is the man for the job. Can you think of a better person than David Kessler to be the state representative for the 130th District? I can't either.

While The International Society for the Advancement of David Kessler does not officially endorse any political candidate, we do encourage our membership to participate in the political process and take over the governments of all nations.

11/22/06 - David Kessler won in the 130th district and will be going to the Pennsylvania State Legislature! Congratulations David and congratulations Pennsylvania. We are well on our way to comandeering control of the government.
